How to visit, step by step

  1. Take the MRT to Daan Park station (R06), on Xinyi Road along the park's north edge
  2. Walk the main loop, about 2 km. Some sections may be fenced off for construction, so follow the detour signs
  3. Stop at the pond to watch birds, then cut through the shaded side paths
  4. Use the public toilets around the park, and bring mosquito repellent in warm months
  5. The eco-pond area has its own opening hours, separate from the rest of the park
Don't miss: A slow loop under the big trees, with a pause at the pond.
Best time to go alone: Early morning or late afternoon on a weekday, when it is cooler.
