A beef noodle shop with roots going back to 1949, in the basement food court of the Wannian Building in Ximending, and on the 2026 MICHELIN Bib Gourmand list. It serves hand-made wide noodles in a clear but rich braised broth. Busy at mealtimes, cash only.

How to order, step by step
- Go to the basement (B1) of the Wannian Building by escalator and turn left into the food court
- At mealtimes wait on the chairs outside - the line moves in about 20 minutes
- Tick what you want on the paper menu at your table, and staff will check it with you
- Take side dishes from the fridge, and pickled mustard greens and scallions from the self-serve station
- Pay at the counter in cash after you eat
What to order solo: A bowl of braised beef noodles with the hand-made wide noodles; the all-tendon version was NT$230 in mid-2026. Add a cold side dish from the fridge. Dumplings are about NT$10 each.
Best time to go alone: Mid-afternoon, around 14:00-17:00, when there is usually no wait. Lunch and dinner queues can reach the stairwell.
