A small specialty coffee shop and bean store set back from a quiet lane near Zhongxiao Dunhua, behind a large banyan tree. A copper-topped bar sits in the middle, which makes it an easy place to stop alone for a carefully brewed coffee or to buy beans to take home.

How to order, step by step
- Walk into Alley 40 off Lane 181 of Zhongxiao East Road Section 4 and look for the glass front behind the big banyan tree
- Order at the bar. Ask staff to suggest a bean if you are not sure what to try
- Sit at the bar, or outside in the front yard on a nice day
- Ask to see the bags of beans if you want some to take home
- It is closed on Fridays and closes at 19:30 on Tuesday and Wednesday
What to order solo: A pour-over of a single-origin coffee at the bar, and a bag of Taiwan-grown beans if you want a coffee souvenir.
Best time to go alone: A weekday afternoon. Closed on Fridays.
