How to order, step by step
- Find the shop at No. 31 Xiaodong Street - other branches nearby are different shops
- Take a seat - it fills up even outside meal times
- Choose a rice plate from the menu. At dinner, hot pots and fried rice or noodles are paused for now
- Pay as staff direct
- Eating in, ask whether braised pork rice and drinks are still free refills
What to order solo: A fried chicken leg rice plate (NT$160) or pork chop rice (NT$150), prices after a rise announced on the shop's Facebook page in September. Recent visitors refilled braised pork rice and milk tea while eating in.
Best time to go alone: Just after 11:00 or after 13:00, outside the lunch rush. It is closed in the mid-afternoon.
