The basement food court of SOGO's Zhongxiao store, linked underground to Zhongxiao Fuxing Station. About 20 counters sell Taiwanese, Japanese, Korean, Thai and Vietnamese set meals plus desserts and drinks, and everyone eats at shared tables, so sitting alone is completely normal.

How to order, step by step
- From Zhongxiao Fuxing Station, follow the signs for Exit 4 into the SOGO Zhongxiao B1
- Walk past the counters once and check the price boards - each counter has its own menu and payment rules
- Order and pay at one counter at a time
- Some counters do not use buzzers, so stay near the counter until your tray is ready
- Sit at any free seat at the shared tables, then take your tray to the return area when you finish
What to order solo: A Taiwanese set tray, such as a fried pork chop with rice, vegetables and soup (about NT$185-230 at the Dong Yang counter in October 2026), or a bowl of noodles or a Korean set from one of the other counters.
Best time to go alone: Before 12:00 or after 13:30 on a weekday. Seats run short at peak times, and it gets much busier during SOGO's anniversary sale each November.
