How to order, step by step

  1. Find stall 1419 inside Yongle Market, across from the busy Wan Long fishmonger
  2. Take a counter seat and choose a bowl. The fish changes with the daily catch
  3. Most bowls are raw fish, and seared toppings are not fully cooked. If you do not eat raw seafood, ask whether a cooked dish is available that day
  4. Pay in cash
What to order solo: One seafood rice bowl at the counter, usually served with miso soup.
Best time to go alone: A weekday late morning, before the lunch rush. It closes in the early afternoon.
