How to order, step by step
- Find the shop in the lane behind Zhongshan Station, about 2 minutes from Exit 1
- Wait for a table. The shop does not take bookings, so expect a line at lunch and dinner
- Scan the QR code on your table and order one noodle set per person, with dry-tossed noodles or noodle soup and a wonton side
- Help yourself to the cold side dishes from the fridge case and to the free drinks. Staff keep them topped up
- Pay in cash. Takeaway sets do not include the free side dishes
What to order solo: The XO shrimp paste dry noodles with wonton chicken soup, or the spicy beef noodles with chili-oil wontons. A 2025 visit put most sets at about NT$280, and the beef tripe and tendon set at about NT$360. Check the posted price. Take small helpings of the free sides at first, as the set is already filling.
Best time to go alone: Mid-afternoon (14:00-17:00), or right at 11:00 opening. Lunch and dinner peaks have a line.
