From Zhongshan Station, Exits 1-4 lead to the Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Nanxi buildings. Go to Building 3 at No. 15 Nanjing West Road and take the escalator down to B1
Walk past the counters first. Each one has its own menu and price board
Order and pay at the counter you choose. Payment options vary by counter, so carry some cash
Check the closing time of the counter you want. Some stop serving before the mall closes

What to order solo: At 朱記餡餅粥, a pan-fried meat pie (xian bing) with a bowl of soup or noodles is an easy meal for one. Fried rice and xiaolongbao are also on the menu. Check each counter's price board.

Best time to go alone: A weekday afternoon is quietest. Arrive before 21:00 for the full choice, as some counters close early.
