How to visit, step by step

  1. Walk to No. 49 Nanhai Road, on the edge of the Taipei Botanical Garden. Xiaonanmen station (G12) is closest
  2. Buy a NT$80 ticket at the counter. The museum's ticket rules mention credit card, EasyCard and mobile payment
  3. Start with the permanent exhibition, then choose a current show. When we checked on 19 October 2026, these included an immersive show on animal motifs (until 21 March 2027) and one on women artists (until 17 January 2027)
  4. Ask at the counter whether a special exhibition needs a separate ticket
  5. Pair it with a walk in the Botanical Garden next door
Don't miss: The permanent exhibition, plus the immersive animal-motifs show while it runs (until 21 March 2027).
Best time to go alone: A weekday morning soon after 10:00.
