Q Square B3 Food Court

京站時尚廣場 B3 食樂大道 · show this name to taxi drivers

The basement food court of Q Square, the mall above Taipei Bus Station, connected underground to Taipei Main Station. Dozens of counters serve one-person meals, from chicken soup and beef noodles to a pay-by-weight vegetarian buffet and Taiwanese douhua, with Japanese chains as a backup. It's an easy meal alone in any weather, but weekend mealtimes are packed with bus passengers.

How to order, step by step

  1. From Taipei Main Station, follow signs for the Civic Blvd. exit and Zhongshan Underground Mall to the Q Square B1 entrance, then take the escalators down to B3. Electronic lockers on B1 and B2 can hold a bag
  2. Walk around the counters first. Most sell one-person meals with the price posted
  3. At busy times, find a seat at the shared tables before you order
  4. Order and pay at the counter. Payment methods differ by counter, so carry some cash
  5. At 明德素食園, the vegetarian buffet, fill a plate yourself and pay by weight at the scale. It is not all-you-can-eat. Rice, soup or noodles are added at the counter
  6. Wait for your food or your number, then return your tray when you finish
What to order solo: Chicken soup or beef noodles at 齊媽媽雞湯 牛肉麵 (about NT$180-220 on 2026 visits), a pay-by-weight vegetarian plate at 明德素食園 (about NT$160 with soup), or a bowl of douhua at 小南門傳統豆花 (about NT$60-70). Check the posted prices. The vegetarian dishes aren't labeled, so ask about egg or dairy if you avoid them.
Best time to go alone: Weekdays before 12:00 or 14:00-17:00. Weekend and holiday lunch and dinner are the hardest times to find a seat.
