How to order, step by step
- Go to No. 18 on the Shuqi Road steps
- There are no bookings, so at busy times you may wait for a seat
- Order and pay at the counter downstairs. Each person orders at least one drink
- Carry your order upstairs. On the top floor you take off your shoes and sit on tatami, mostly without a backrest
- Have cash ready in case cards aren't accepted
What to order solo: Caramel pudding with a hand-brewed coffee. An Americano was about NT$160 in 2026. Check the posted price.
Best time to go alone: Weekday afternoon. It closes earlier on weekends, at 17:00.
