How to order, step by step

  1. Find the stall on Bade Road beside Ciyou Temple, a few steps from the night market's east gate
  2. Take a bowl and tongs and pick the items you want
  3. Hand the bowl to the staff and wait your turn - orders are handled in line
  4. Staff cut and season everything for takeaway - say if you do not want it spicy
  5. Pay in cash and take it with you - there are no seats
What to order solo: Three or four items make a snack: duck wings, gizzards and baby corn are popular. Many small items are about NT$30 a portion and chicken feet start at NT$20 for five (October 2026 price board, in Chinese). Duck tongues cost more.
Best time to go alone: 16:30-18:30, before the queue builds. Closed on Mondays.
