How to order, step by step

  1. Order at the front: point at the fritters or the menu and say how many
  2. Pay in cash
  3. Eat at a table inside (more seats are reported upstairs) or take it away
  4. The signature fritter contains oysters and most items are deep-fried, so skip it if you have a shellfish allergy
What to order solo: One oyster fritter, plus a chive stick or a slice of radish cake if you are still hungry.
Best time to go alone: A weekday afternoon, away from the weekend crowds on Dihua Street.
