Lin Cong Ming Fish Head Casserole (Taipei 101)
嘉義林聰明沙鍋魚頭 台北101店 · show this name to taxi drivers
A small counter in the Taipei 101 basement food court run by a Chiayi family brand dating from 1953. It serves sand-pot fish head casserole, a rich shacha (Taiwanese satay) broth with fish and vegetables, and every main comes as a one-person set with rice, a side dish and a drink.

How to order, step by step
- Find the counter in the B1 food court, across from Din Tai Fung and next to the souvenir area
- Choose a set from the picture menu and order at the counter
- Pay at the counter - cards are accepted
- Wait at the counter until your tray is ready
- Eat in the food court seating and return the tray when you finish
What to order solo: The fried shrimp sand-pot set (NT$399 in August 2026) or the lobster set (NT$499). Pay a little extra to swap the plain rice for Chiayi-style turkey rice. Older reports mention cheaper basic sets, which may no longer be offered.
Best time to go alone: Before 12:00 or 14:00-17:00 on a weekday. Finding a seat in the food court is hard at lunch and dinner peaks.
