Maokong Tea House (tea soft serve)

A tea shop right by the gondola's top station, best known for soft-serve ice cream made with Maokong's own teas: green Baozhong and roasted Tieguanyin. One cone is the simplest taste of Maokong tea on your own, and the shop also sells loose tea and tea snacks.

How to order, step by step
- Walk about a minute from Maokong Gondola Station to the shop across the way
- Order a soft serve at the counter. The green one is Baozhong and the brown one is Tieguanyin
- Eat it outside, or sit inside with a pot of tea. Seats inside may have a minimum spend per person
- Carry cash. Card payment may need a minimum spend
What to order solo: One Baozhong or Tieguanyin soft serve, topped with a cat-shaped cookie. Check the posted price.
Best time to go alone: Right after you arrive by gondola on a weekday. Closed on Mondays.
