Nanjichang Night Market

南機場夜市 · show this name to taxi drivers

A compact, food-only night market in a residential area, used mostly by locals. Almost every stall sells single portions, a few have small seating areas, and some post English menus. There is no MRT station right next to it, so plan on a 15-minute walk or a bus.

How to order, step by step

  1. Walk in from Zhonghua Road - the stalls line one lane
  2. Order single portions stall by stall
  3. Sit at the few stalls with seats, such as the tube rice pudding stall, or take food away
  4. Pay in cash - a few stalls take mobile pay
What to order solo: A spring roll (runbing) at Wu Wang Tsai Chi (吾旺再季, about NT$70) and a sesame flatbread from the nameless cart (無名推車燒餅), both on the 2026 MICHELIN Bib Gourmand list, plus chicken rice at Shan Nei (山內雞肉) by the entrance. The dumpling stall has a ten-dumpling minimum, which is a lot for one.
Best time to go alone: About 17:00-19:00. Several famous stalls sell out or close early, and each stall has its own day off.
