How to visit, step by step
- Take bus S9 from MRT Beitou to Hushan Rd. Sec. 2 or the Yangming Park Service Center stop, or walk about 20 minutes from the Yangmingshan bus terminal
- Entry is free and there is no ticket. Start at the Flower Clock, then wander the paths past ponds, little bridges and pavilions
- In the flower festival (5 February to 15 March in 2026) the park fills with cherry blossoms, azaleas and art installations, and weekend traffic on the mountain is heavy, so come by bus
- Outside the festival there is less in bloom, so pair it with Zhuzihu or Qianshan Park, about 20 minutes away on foot
Don't miss: The Flower Clock, replanted with seasonal flowers, and the cherry blossoms in February and March.
Best time to go alone: A weekday morning in February or March for the blossoms without the weekend crowds.
