A third-generation family stall next to Bangka Qingshui Temple, serving Tainan-style braised pork belly rice and on the 2026 MICHELIN Bib Gourmand list for Taipei. Thick slices of pork belly come on rice with pickles and dried radish, and you eat at shared tables under the arcade. It opens at 09:00, so it works as a hearty late breakfast before or after Longshan Temple.

- Go to No. 79 Kangding Road, next to Bangka Qingshui Temple (祖師廟)
- Check which line you are in. Takeaway often has its own line, so ask staff if you are eating in
- Order at the counter. Say if you want the pork fatty or lean, otherwise it comes half and half
- Pay in cash
- Take a seat under the arcade. Sharing a table with strangers is normal at busy times
What to order solo: The braised pork belly rice (about NT$130 in 2026), with a bowl of fish ball soup or pork blood soup if you want more. A gua bao is a smaller option. The Madou-style rice pudding (碗粿) is made in limited numbers and can sell out early. Check the posted price.
Best time to go alone: Weekdays around 10:00 or after 14:00. Lunchtime queues can take 20-30 minutes. Saturdays end at 14:00, and it is closed on Sundays.
